How to Create and Manage Course

Creating a course in Learnly is simple, flexible, and designed to help you deliver training quickly. From building a short lesson to a complete learning program, Learnly gives you all the tools you need, like content uploads, quizzes, modules, AI assistance, and more.

This guide walks you through the steps to create a course from scratch so that you can publish high-quality learning experiences with ease.

Step 1: Navigate to Courses

From the left navigation menu, click 'Training Studio' and select 'Courses'.

Step 2: Create a New Course

Click '+ Create Course'.

Create a Course Using AI

Step 3: Select Generate with AI

Choose 'Generate with AI' to create your course using AI assistance.

Step 4: Enter Course Name

Enter the 'Course Name' and click 'Next'.

Step 5: Set Course Duration

Enter the 'Number of Days' required to complete the course and click 'Next'.

Step 6: Select Course Level

Choose the appropriate 'Current Level' for the course (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) and click 'Create Course'.

Step 7: Open the Generated Course

Click 'Return to Course' to review, edit, and customize the generated course.

Step 8: Edit Course Details

Click the 'Edit' icon to update the 'Cover Image', 'Course Title', and 'Course Description'.

Step 9: Customize Course Content

Click 'Continue Learning' to access the course content or use the 'Edit' icon to make changes.

Step 10: Update Course Settings

Click the 'Settings' button to modify course preferences and configurations.

Step 11: Access Quick Actions

Use quick actions to access 'Flashcards', 'Notes', and 'Goals'. You can also manage goals from the dedicated Goals section.

Create a Course Manually

Step 12: Select Create Manually

To create a course without AI generation, click 'Create Manually'.

Step 13: Add Course Details

Enter the 'Course Name' and 'Course Description'. You can use the AI' icon anytime to generate or improve content.

Step 14: Set Up Course Curriculum

Update the 'Course Image' and choose how you want to build the curriculum. You can either generate a curriculum using AI or create it manually.

Step 15: Create a Module

Click '+ Create Module', enter the 'Module Title', 'Description', and 'Duration', then click 'Create Module'.

Step 16: Add a Lesson

Click '+ Add Lesson', enter the 'Lesson Title', and click 'Create Lesson'.

Step 17: Add Content Blocks

Click '+ Add Block' to add different content types and build your lesson.

Step 18: Manage Your Course

From the 'Courses' page, select any course and use the available options to edit the course, unpublish it, or make other changes.
