How to Create and Use Likert / Survey Assessments

Published:

I reviewed the content and converted it into a structured Knowledge Base (KB) article format with a clear step-by-step flow for Learnly users. I’ve kept it user-facing, removed internal product notes, and organized it for easy scanning.

Overview

Learnly’s Likert / Survey Assessment helps organizations collect learner feedback, opinions, and insights without grading responses.

Unlike traditional assessments, surveys are designed to measure perception, confidence, satisfaction, and feedback rather than knowledge accuracy.

Common use cases include:

  • Course satisfaction surveys

  • Training feedback forms

  • Pre/post training confidence checks

  • Employee pulse surveys

  • Onboarding feedback

  • Program improvement surveys

A Likert / Survey Assessment is ungraded:

  • No score

  • No pass/fail criteria

  • No certificate generation

Learners simply share their responses, and admins can analyze trends through survey reports.
